TraficDetect has grown out of extensive experience in the distribution, installation and implementation of technological solutions for traffic detection. After years of working on projects related to mobility, simulation, decision-making and intelligent transport systems, the company has established itself as smartmicro’s representative in Spain and South America.
Our aim is to help public authorities, infrastructure operators and technology integrators to implement advanced solutions that address today’s mobility challenges: greater safety, improved traffic flow, reliable data and real-time analysis capabilities.

Emmanuel Bert, founder of TraficDetect
Emmanuel Bert is a traffic engineer with over 20 years’ experience in project management and technological products applied to mobility, traffic and decision-making support.
He began his career in academia in Switzerland as a research engineer and PhD student, before moving into the industrial sector. For over 13 years, he was involved in the development, commercialisation and implementation of best practices for an advanced traffic simulation tool in Barcelona.
Currently, as an entrepreneur and specialist in hardware and software solutions for mobility, he focuses on helping public and private clients tackle challenges relating to data collection, traffic monitoring, automation and the intelligent management of road networks.
